Ingredients
- 3/4 cup scotty's everyday cupcake mix
- 1/4 cup butter- melted
- 1 large egg- room temperature
- 1/2 tbsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1/4 cup eggnog
- 1/2 cup butter- room temperature
- 1 3/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1/8 cup eggnog

Directions
Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a 6 cup cupcake pan.
In a bowl, whisk together melted butter, egg, vanilla, nutmeg, and eggnog. Add scotty’s everyday cupcake mix and stir until smooth and thick.
Pour batter into cupcake liners (about halfway full). Bake for 18–22 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Let cupcakes cool completely.
For the buttercream: Beat butter until smooth. Gradually mixing in powdered sugar until fully combined.
Add eggnog and beat on high until light and fluffy.
Frost cooled cupcakes, garnish with a cinnamon stick and ground nutmeg, and enjoy!
