ingredients:

  • 1 package of scotty's everyday bread mix
  • seasoned chicken thigh or breast
  • provolone cheese 
  • bell peppers⁠
  • onions

instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375° F
  • Prepare Scotty’s bread mix according to package instructions- we used the quick bread method for this one. 
  • Fill a small casserole dish with the mixture, using some foil to create separation. We want to create 2 buns with this mix! ⁠
  • Bake at 375 F for 30 minutes. ⁠
  • While the bread bakes, sauté your chicken, bell peppers, and onions with your favorite seasonings. Once cooked through, top with provolone cheese and put the lid on the pan to melt. 
  • Let the bread cool after 30 mins of baking, and cut a slit in the bun. Don’t cut all the way through!⁠
  • Add your chicken mixture, and enjoy!⁠
