¼ cup Scotty's Allulose & Monk Zero Calorie Sugar Replacement

½ teaspoon molasses

1 teaspoon Scotty’s Vanilla Extract, divided

1 package Scotty's Everyday Biscuit Mix

½ teaspoon baking powder

Pinch of salt

6 tablespoons unsalted butter, cold and cubed

2 ounces cream cheese, cold and cubed

½ cup ice water
-
¼ cup heavy cream
-
1 tablespoon heavy cream, optional
Directions
Preheat oven to 425°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a small bowl, combine sweetener, molasses, and ½ teaspoon vanilla extract until the sweetener turns a uniform golden-brown color.
In a food processor, combine biscuit mix, brown sugar sweetener, baking powder, and salt. Add butter and cream cheese; pulse until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Combine ice water, ¼ cup heavy cream, and remaining ½ teaspoon vanilla extract. Add to dry ingredients and mix until a shaggy dough forms.
Turn dough onto a lightly floured surface. Pat into a 10" x 4" rectangle. Fold in half and repeat folding 4 more times to create layers.
Pat dough to about 1½ inches thick. Cut with a 2-inch biscuit cutter without twisting. Place on prepared baking sheet.
Optional: Brush tops with remaining heavy cream.
Bake 14 minutes or until golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 195–200°F. Cool slightly and enjoy.
