Low carb/ low sugar strawberry biscuits made suuuuuper easy with scotty's everyday keto biscuit mix! Topped with vanilla icing -they’re so good, you’d never know they’re healthier! you have to try ‘em!
* To make this recipe vegan, sub butter and milk for vegan butter and a milk alternative of choice!
ingredients for biscuit mix:
- 1 package scotty's everyday keto biscuit mix
- 1 stick of butter
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1 cup strawberries
- 1 tbsp corn starch
- 1/2 cup of strawberries for topping
icing
- 1 cup icing sugar
- dash of vanilla
- 1-3 tbsp milk
instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350° F
- Empty biscuits mix into a bowl, add your chopped butter.
- Cut up some strawberries so that you get a full cup & mix with cornstarch.
- Add your plant milk and strawberries to biscuit mixture, folding until a dough forms.
- Roll your dough out on powdered sugar (or sugar alternative) placing biscuits on a baking sheet 2-3 inches apart.
- * optional* Mix together an egg and a couple tbsp of water and lightly brush the top of the biscuits biscuits.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until edges lightly brown!
- While the biscuits bake, whisk together your icing and eat while warm!
