This one comes from one of the Scotty's Everyday founders! Who doesn't love a soft, salted pretzel? And this one is EASY to make and low carb! Only four ingredients needed. Try it out and let us know what you think!


  • 3/4 cup warm water
  • 1 1/4 tsp yeast
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • Scotty's Everyday Bread Mix


  • Follow Scotty's Bread Mix instructions, mix together with butter
  • Cover and let rise for 90 minutes in a warm place
  • Bring 6 cups of water to a boil in a large sauce pan
  • Put oil or release spray on your hands
  • Pull dough out and knead for 2 minutes
  • Divide dough into 6 equal parts
  • Roll each piece into an 18" snake
  • Shape into a pretzel and press ends together
  • Add 3 Tbsp of baking soda to the boiling water and stir
  • Place one pretzel on a slotted spatula and place into boiling water/baking soda mix for 25-30 seconds
  • Pull pretzel out with slotted spatula and let residual water drip off
  • Place on parchment paper on a baking pan 
  • Repeat with remaining pretzels
  • Brush pretzels with 2 Tbsp melted butter and salt (if desired)
  • Place in preheated 400degree over for 12-15 minutes
